In 1908, the Sandbourne Inn began with 12,000 square feet of space. It was said that the inn was actually around before 1908 but had caught on fire and was burned down, then it was rebuilt with concrete meant to last. It was built with 2 floors, a large dining hall on the first floor, a fireplace, a lounge bar and an outside patio. The inn has 9 rooms for guests, an owner apartment and 8 bathrooms. The hotel and restaurant reside on 6.55 acres of land. The inn served as a wedding and function venue until 2009 when it was first listed for sale. The current owners are looking into renovating the old inn to be used once again.
